How to Enable JavaScript in Chrome on Android

JavaScript is a programming language that adds interactivity and functionality to websites. If you are having trouble with certain websites not working properly on your Android device, it's possible that JavaScript is disabled.

Here's how to enable JavaScript in the Chrome browser on your Android device:

Step 1: Open Chrome Settings

  1. Open the Chrome app on your Android device.
  2. Tap the three dots in the top-right corner of the screen to access the Menu.
  3. Scroll down and tap Settings.

Step 2: Access Site Settings

  1. Within the Settings menu, tap Site settings.

Step 3: Enable JavaScript

  1. In the Site settings menu, scroll down and tap JavaScript.
  2. Ensure the Allow sites to run JavaScript toggle is turned on. If it's currently off, tap the toggle to turn it on.

Restart Chrome

After enabling JavaScript, it's a good idea to restart the Chrome browser to ensure the changes take effect. To do this:

  1. Tap the Menu (three dots) in the top-right corner.
  2. Tap Exit.
  3. Re-open the Chrome app.

Now that you've enabled JavaScript, you should be able to access websites that require it to function properly.

Note: If you're still experiencing issues with a specific website, it's possible that the website itself has JavaScript issues. Contact the website's administrator if the problem persists.
